Ever since 2008, the university has hosted and sponsored more than 30 large-scale international activities and important academic conferences, including “2010 International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) Conference of North East Asia”, “the 20th International Association of Feminist Economics”, “Academic Conference of East Asian Culture” co-organized with University of Columbia and "2012 Bangkok Asia Food Science Forum" co-hosted with Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. May 2011 witnessed the 100th Anniversary of ZJSU, for which nearly 100 friend universities in the US, UK, Canada and other countries sent their congratulatory messages, such as Harvard University, Cornell University, etc. In 2013, “International Education Week” was hosted by ZJSU and co-organized by more than 20 partner universities from the USA, UK, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and Republic of Northern Cyprus. In September 2016, ZJSU hosted the Delegation of France led by the President Mr. François Hollande in G20 Hangzhou Summit. In addition, “LMWZ Consortium and International Forum of Food Science and Nutrition 2016” was co-hosted by University of Leeds, Massey University and Wageningen University.
