In 2009, ZJSU launched the "Blue Sky" project aiming at enhancing faulty internationalization, which sends 50 promising teachers annually to foreign key universities for study and research, and dozens of academic leaders and young administrators to key universities overseas for training as well. Up to now, more than 500 faculty members have benefited from the program and applied what they have learned from their abroad experience in their teaching and research back at ZJSU.
