



On the afternoon of March 10, a delegation including Andrew Perlman, Vice President and Dean of the Law School of Suffolk University in the United States, Wang Yonggang, Vice President of Golden Gate University, and Marc Miller, former Dean of the Law School of the University of Arizona, visited ZJSU. Yu Shaocai, Academic Vice President of Zhejiang Gongshang University, met with the delegation members. Relevant persons in charge and teacher representatives from International Office, and the Law School (Intellectual Property School) participated in this exchange activity.

Vice President Yu Shaochai extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided a brief overview of Zhejiang Gongshang University's educational history, disciplinary strengths, internationalization achievements, and legal education development. He emphasized that the university has consistently prioritized global educational exchanges and collaboration, noting that this visit has established a bridge for in-depth communication with three prestigious American universities. He expressed hope that this exchange would serve as a catalyst for new partnerships, jointly advancing the internationalization of legal education and innovative talent cultivation. Delegation members highlighted their respective institutions' academic strengths, disciplinary specialties, and international cooperation frameworks, demonstrating high recognition of Zhejiang Gongshang University's academic excellence and global development philosophy. All participants expressed strong interest in deepening inter-university collaboration.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the campus and the university history museum , gaining firsthand insights into the institution's educational heritage, campus culture, and achievements in disciplinary development. They highly commended the university’s tradition in business education and its multidisciplinary coordinated development framework.

At the subsequent cooperation negotiation meeting, relevant person in charge from the Law School and the International Office of the university held specific consultations with the delegation on the Sino-foreign cooperative education program with Suffolk University. Focusing on the law major, both sides mainly discussed the feasibility of specific cooperation forms such as Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, curriculum co-construction, credit mutual recognition, mutual recruitment of teachers, tuition fees and cost estimation.
