ZJSU Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with USC Marshall School of Business

On March 5, a signing ceremony was held in Shanghai between Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU) and the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business. Under the witness of Sam Lundquist, Executive Director of Global Strategic Development of USC, representatives from ZJSU's School of Business Administration (MBA School), School of Tourism and Urban-Rural Planning, and School of Finance (School of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs’ Asset Management) respectively signed strategic cooperation agreements with Professor Geoffrey Garrett, Dean of the USC Marshall School of Business. This event not only marks the official establishment of partnership but also lays solid foundation for future collaborationin faculty-student exchanges, teaching and research initiatives, joint cultivation, and other areas.

During the event, Professor Geoffrey Garrett, Dean of the USC Marshall School of Business; Sam Lundquist, Executive Director of Global Strategic Development at USC; and Peter Cardon, Academic Director of the USC Marshall School of Business, engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including leveraging China-U.S. educational exchanges for mutual benefit under current circumstances, opportunities and challenges in cross-cultural communication, and collaborative approaches to advancing global innovation in education.

This partnership signifies a milestone in collaboration on international education for both institutions, creating more opportunities for academic exchanges and enriching educational resources for teachers and students. ZJSU will further advance its internationalization initiatives, thus writing new chapters in higher education cooperation with U.S. institutions.
