Recently, a team led by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis from Stanford University, in collaboration with Elsevier's database, released the seventh edition of the "Global Top 2% Scientists List." This list is based on the Scopus database and selects the top 2% of scientists worldwide according to "Career Impact" and "Annual Impact," categorized into 22 fields and 174 subfields.

Eight teachers from our universities, including Chen Jianshe, Zhang Zhanjun, Shao Jun, Ye Tianyu, Jiang Tianjia, Zhu Ling, Xiong Chunhua, and Wang Kuiwu, have been recognized in the "Career Impact" category and 24 teachers recognized in the "Annual Impact" category of the global top 2% scientists list.
