Delegation of Lancaster University Leipzig Visited ZJSU

Professor Constantin Blome, President of Lancaster University Leipzig paid a visit to ZJSU on the morning of March 8th. The guests were warmly received by President Wang Yonggui, with participation of representatives from various departments, including the International Office, Office of Social Sciences, the School of Business Administration, and the School of Management and E-Business.

On behalf of ZJSU, Wang extended a warm welcome to their visit and provided an overview of the school-running history and accomplishments. With shared vision and goals for development, he expressed, two universities would establish a strategic partnership, with this visit as a chance. The envisaged collaboration aims to leverage strengths and characteristic disciplines of both universities, and to nurture research cooperation, joint talent training, and exchanges of students and faculty members. Ultimately, the overarching objective is to expedite an all-encompassing and profound cooperation of both universities in various domains.

President Constantin expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception extended by our university. He provided an insightful overview of the departments, study abroad policies, and the unique ambiance of both Lancaster University and Lancaster University Leipzig Campus. Recognizing the distinctive qualities of each university and the tremendous potential for collaboration, he expressed his earnest desire to further our exchanges, and to work together for greater progress of both universities. Subsequently, he delivered captivating academic lectures to faculty members and students of the School of Business Administration and the School of Management and E-Business. The lectures centered around compelling topics, including supply chain management and the publication of research papers in esteemed journals.
