On 13th October, the Internationalized Work Conference was held in Xiasha Campus, ZJSU. Jin Yanghua, Vice President of ZJSU chaired the meeting and delivered a speech. Directors of relevant offices, Directors in charge of foreign affairs, Secretaries as well as the Administrators of international students of all colleges attended the meeting.

Jin Yanghua pointed out that the prevention and control of epidemic now was generally good but yet to end. With consistent epidemic prevention and control, we have to analyse the educational situation and trend at home and abroad with high political stance and firm confidence. Studying the difficulties and priorities of international work and taking key tasks as starting point, we are supposed to explore new path of international development and integrate internationalization into personnel training, discipline construction, and scientific research.

In addition, Jin Yanghua made arrangements for the internationalized work of the new semester. The first is to be strategically oriented to contribute the “Double First-rate”plan. The second is to take multiple measures to create a team of faculties with international competitiveness and influence.The third is to advance quality and efficiency to improve the cultivation of international students.The fourth is to be well prepared for the “Zhejiang   Characteristic Internationalized Universities” project.The fifth is to guide our work according to circumstances to summarize the experience of international cooperation in running schools and demonstrate our achievements. He put forward that while carrying out the internalization work, all schools and colleges should put moral education in the first place and integrate the guideline and practice, adhering to centralized management, bottom-line thinking and quality-orientation to create new pattern of higher education.

Directors of International Office, School of International Education and School of International Business made a report on their international work and the work plan of this semester. Meanwhile, all attendees exchanged ideas on how to promote internationalization work and management and teaching of international students.
