On 11th April, the 13th “Peak Time” Global Business Simulation Contest China Final came to an end after 5 months ofcompetition. Standing out of 1400 teams from 150 universities and colleges, Students of ZJSU won the first prize in the undergraduate group and were awarded the Outstanding Winner. They will be selected as members of Chinese delegation for the Global Final.
The Business Simulation Contest consisted of various simulations of different industries and platforms such as automobile, mobile phone , fast-moving consumer goods , construction etc.. The decision-making process in production, marketing , research and development, human resources and finance was also included. The final was composed of 3 parts: English Presentation, Business Simulation Decision-making and Business Case Demonstration.
“Peak Time” is one of the biggest international business simulation contests in the world. Organized by the Stockholm School of Economics, the competition is becoming an important match for students from top business schools all around the world to communicate and cooperate. Since the Chinese branch of the contest was started, it has been successfully held 13 times, with positive response from top universities around the country.
The Business Simulation Contest emphasizes the combination of theory and practice. Participants are not only confronted with the challenge of data processing and application, but also need to deal with team work, cross-cultural communication, innovation and resilience. It aims to develop the talents withability to solve all kinds of assignments and problems in real-life business activity.
