Discussion with the Panel from University of Sussex on Cooperation Program was held in ZJSU

On the afternoon of January 7th, the panel delegation from University of Sussex made up of Professor Ian Wakeman, Deputy Head of School of Engineering and Informatics,Ms Leina Shi, Head of Global Engagement, Mr Damien Jarvis, Partnership Manager and Ms Katie Akerman, Director of Quality and Standards, University of Chichester visited ZJSU. Representatives from School of Information and Electronic Engineering and International Office, ZJSU attend the meeting with the delegation to discuss the cooperation in running school.

 

ZJSU intends to develop the cooperation in joint masters program of Robots and Automatic System with University of Sussex. The two sides have delivered a discussion on the items of the cooperation agreement. With thorough discussion, the two sides have reached a consensus on the issues possibly popping up during the implementation of the program, like students management, examination system, rating system and the establishment of the examination committee. Both sides would try hard to promote the program to be approved by related authorities. The delegation then visited the campus including teaching building, library, cafeteria and so on.

University of Sussex was founded in 1961. Sussex has three Nobel Prize winners, 14 Fellows of the Royal Society, 12 Fellows of the British Academy and a winner of the prestigious Crafoord Prize. The Guardian university ranking 2018 places University of Sussex 3rd in the British for top prospect.
