Delegation Led by Sri Lankan Ambassador to China Visited Zhejiang Gongshang University
 

On November 7th, Karunasena Kodituwakku, Sri Lankan Ambassador to China, Danuska, assistant to ambassador, Chen Yin, Chief Editor of International Development Cooperation visited Zhejiang Gongshang University. Chen Shoucan, President and Dai Wenzhan, Vice President of ZJSU met with the guests. Director of International Office and representatives from School of Foreign Languages attended the meeting.

       On behalf of Zhejiang Gongshang University, president Chen Shoucan expressed welcome to Ambassador Kodituwakku and introduced the features and international development of ZJSU. He said that ZJSU wished to conduct cooperation with well-known universities and institutes of Sri Lanca in students exchanges, “One Belt One Road” studies and Sri Lankan culture studies. Sri Lankan students are warmly welcomed to study in ZJSU. He hoped the partnership between two universities would strengthen China-Sri Lanka cultural and educational exchanges, which would contribute to fuether friendship between the two countries.

        Ambassador Kodituwakku introduced higher educational situation of Sri Lanka. He hoped that the universities and institutes of Sri Lanka and Zhejiang Gongshang University would strengthen the exchanges and communications in mutual visits of students and teachers and think tank research through this visit. It is a way to enhance cooperation and communication between the two countries by taking educational cooperation as a bridge.

        Ambassador Kodituwakku gave a lecture to students and teachers from School of Foreign Languages elaborating on China-Sri Lanka relations and history of exchanges. He also communicated with students about economy, education and culture of Sri Lanka.
