On the morning of Dec 15th, Vice President Dai Wenzhan met with Prof. Yamada Ken, Dean of School of Literature, Chiba University. The Directors of International Office and of School of Japanese Language and Culture attended the meeting as well.

Vice President Dai Wenzhan extended warm welcome to Prof. Yamada Ken, and introduced general situation and outstanding subjects of ZJSU. He pointed out that the subjects structure of both universities, to some extent, resemble. Therefore, the cooperation enjoys a bright future. Prof. Yamada Ken also introduced the general situation of Chiba University. He encouraged more ZJSU students to study in Chiba University, and promised to provide a good academic environment for them.

Then,Prof. Yamada Ken, at the invitation of ZJSU, gave a lecture entitledThe Chinese Literature and Annotation Field inEdo period of Japan to faculty and students inSchool of Japanese Language and Culture.

Chiba University, one of the most celebrated national universities inJapan, is a comprehensive university which boosts long history as well as distinctive and high-level subjects in Greater Tokyo Area. The School of Law, Politics and Economy,School of Hort iculture,School of Nursing are unique subjects of national university. ZJSU and Chiba University have signed Cooperation Frame Agreement in 2012. In 2014, both sides signed Students Exchange Agreement. And according to the agreement, both universities can send exchange students to each other every year.
