On the morning of Oct 10th, vice president Dai Wenzhan met with the newly appointed director of Alliance Francaise Mr. Jonathan Unlu. Directors from International Office, College of International Education, and Alliance Francaise attended the meeting.

Vice president Dai Wenzhan extended warm welcome to Mr. Jonathan Unlu and introduced the basic situation and international strategy of ZJSU, especially the general state of Alliance Francaise, hoping Mr. Jonathan Unlu would bring the new development to Alliance Francaise, and hoping the Alliance Francaise could play the greater role in opening up more channels in cooperation and exchange so as to further the internationalization of ZJSU. It is the first time for Mr. Jonathan Unlu to pay the visit inChina, which to some extent fulfilled his dream. He has been to many countries and lived in those places. Mr. Jonathan Unlu has the great confidence for the prospect of Alliance Francaise.

ZJSU is the only partner for Alliance Francaise in Zhejiang province. The Alliance Francaise has enrolled students more than 2000, since it was established in November 2008. Currently, the Alliance Francaise has become one of the largest French training institutions and the most important Sino-French cultural center inZhejiangProvince. In February, Mr. Jean-Luc Tissier, the new chief representative of Alliance Francaise chose ZJSU as the first stop on the visit to China, showing the great importance was given to the Alliance Francaise en ZJSU.
