President Zhang Renshou Meets Principal of Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University, DHBW
On the morning on April 1st, president of ZJSU Zhang Renshou met Professor Theodor Karl Sproll the principle of Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University, DHBW. The head of International Office of ZJSU attended the meeting as well.

Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University, DHBW originally was cooperatively founded by well-known companies such as Daimler, Siemens and Bosch in 1974 and was transformed into a public university in 2009, which is located in Stuttgart belonging to Germany’s richest province Baden-Wurttemberg. At present, the university is one of the biggest universities in Baden-Wurttemberg with 43000 students and 850 professors, establishing the cooperative relationship with more than 7500 enterprises and institutions.Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University, DHBW adopts dual education mode which requires students to learn theory for three months and practice in enterprise for another three months and the undergraduate educational system is three years (6 semesters). DHBW adheres the teaching concept of “Theory+Practice”, providing dual professional courses like economic management, engineering technology, social health and so on. The development experience of German dual educational system is of great enlightenment to China’s education mode. And colleges and universities in China have introduced dual education mode.

Baden-Wurttemberg Cooperative State University, DHBW hopes to cooperate with our university in all aspects. The visit of Professor Theodor Karl Sproll aims to establish the cooperative relationship between two universities, conducting exchanges of students and faculty and research cooperation. During the meeting, he introduced DHBW’s school-running characteristics and the personnel training mode. And the president Zhang Renshou introduced general states and preponderant disciplines of ZJSU as well and expressed the hope that two universities could achieve the exchange and cooperation gradually. After the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation framework agreement.
