On the new year’s eve of 2014, Confucius Institute held the second Spring Festival party in the university of West Flanders.Vice governor of West Flanders and the mayor of the two neighboring cities were invited to attend the party, as well as teachers and students of the university of West Flanders, local community leaders and hundreds of people attended the party. 

The party was held at the world heritage city center of Bruges, Belgium famous ancient architecture bell tower. The president of the university of West Flanders, Professor Laud gave a warm speech and the deans of Confucius Institute of two sides delivered speeches. The Chinese classical music played by Chinese artists gave the audiences a big Chinese musical feast. The ballet played by Belgian girls attracted the audiences’ attention. Chinese lion dance brought a climax to the party.

The Confucius Institute bought guests delicious Chinese food, beverage, and desserts and guests either sat at Chinese style round table or at Belgium style bar.Confucius Institute and People of West Flanders celebrated the traditional Chinese festival and shared cultural feast.

Spring Festival party held by Confucius Institute has become cultural events of this world heritage city of Bruges.
