On October 25, Vice President Dai Wenzhan warmly welcomed Vice President of Illinois Governor State University Mr. Gebeyehu and his wife companied by chief representative of the Government of Illinois in China Mr. Zhao Yongqing, Commercial Attache Xu Chenmin, Educational Attache Wen Weng. Officers from the International Affairs and SMBA of ZJSU presented the meeting.
Mr. Dai expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Mr. Gebeyehu and his group and introduced the basic situation of two campuses and one-hundred-year history of ZJSU, the disciplinary structure and the development of internationalization of ZJSU, particularly the construction of English-taught disciplines. He pointed that the university expected to establish the friendship with Governor State University, Illinois by the visit and to discuss the possibility of cooperation under the circumstance of the fast development process of internationalization of ZJSU in recent years.
On the afternoon of June 3, 2012, MBA School of ZJSU held an exchange meeting that 22 MBA students from Governor State University, Illinois had been to ZJSU with the lead by Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. The meeting aimed to provide an opportunity for those students to have a face-to-face communication with Chinese entrepreneurs, professors and MBA students of ZJSU. Vice President Mr. Gebeyehu paid this visit on the base of last exchange meeting to pursue the cooperation between two universities.
