President Zhang Renshou together with six delegates of ZJSU paid a visit to the universities in Japan and Korea on invitation from May 27th to June 5th.
President Zhang together with the delegates visited Shitennouji University(IBU) and Chiba University in Japan. The delegates had a deep discussion with the Chairman and the President of IBU and its related faculties, and reached a consensus on inter-school exchange, student cultivation and the exchange of teachers and students between the universities. Furthermore, the delegates participated the grand ceremony of planting daisy-peach trees arranged by IBU to commemorate the sound cooperative relationship of the universities for years. The delegates also visited the exchange students of IBU in ZJSU and listened to their suggestions and ideas on exchange programme.
During the visit to Chiba University, President Zhang Renshou of ZJSU and President Yasushi Saito of Chiba University signed the Inter-School Cooperation Agreement. The delegates also visited Mr.Yuan Zihuang, education consul of China's Consulate General in Osaka, Japan, reported specific affairs about the exchange programme between ZJSU and Japanese universities and accepted his suggestions.
Moreover, the delegates visited Yongin University and Yonsei University in Korea, walked around their campuses and school facilities, made the communication of cooperation on exchanges of students and teachers and research sectors.
The delegation made a direct understanding and realization of those universities on their teaching models, running mechanism and school management by the visit to expand our international horizons and enhance the exchange among universities in Japan and Korea.
