On Nov. 10, 2011, overseas committee member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and also general counsel of UK Chinese Embassy, Ms Li Zhenjv gave a wonderful lecture named “Study in U.K.” to ZJSU staff and students. Vice-president of ZJSU—Mr. Ren Zhiguo, Chief Director of Consul Section of Zhejiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office—Mr. Mo Zhiliang, Deputy Director of Consul Section of Zhejiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office—Ms Wang Min also attended the lecture.

 

Based on some typical cases of Chinese students living and studying in UK in recent years, Lee introduced thoroughly to us some advice on studying in UK for her rich experience of decades of legal services in UK, including different types of student visa, application requirements, English proficiency, financial support, driving in UK, houses tenancy, self-safety and criminal offense etc, which gave the staff and students present a deeper and more precise knowledge of UK’s laws and society.
