On Nov. 6, President Zhang Renshou met with the General Secretary of Headquarters of Alliance Francaise, France, Mr. Jean-Claude Jacques, who has come to ZJSU to visit ZJSU Association of Alliance Francaise. Both parties first reviewed the rapid development since the ZJSU Alliance Francaise (also the Hangzhou Alliance Francaise) was founded three years ago and highly praised its marvelous achievements. General Secretary Mr. Jacques also extended his sincere thanks to ZJSU’s friendly cooperation and full support to the Alliance Francaise.

 

Retinue secretary of Mr. Jacques and also the director of Asian Alliance Francaise Foundation—Mr. Bi Anhong，chief representative of China Alliance Francaise Foundation, Mr. Luo Kejia, and relevant officials from Department of Foreign Affairs and Alliance Francaise of ZJSU also attended the meeting.

 

Since its foundation in November, 2011, and now having nearly 2,000 registered students, ZJSU Alliance Francaise has held more than 80 lectures about France high education and organized 140 Sino-French cultural exchange activities, including the annual French Day of China International Animation Festival and the French Film Week in Hangzhou. ZJSU Alliance Francaise has become one of the biggest French-training institutions and Sino-French cultural exchange centers in Zhejiang province.
