On April 5th, President Zhang Renshou met with Bengt E Johansson, the Consul General of Sweden in Shanghai, at Xiasha campus. Relevant teachers from International Office and School of Law also attended the meeting.
President Zhang extended warm welcome to
Mr. Johansson and introduced to him the history, development, international exchange and cooperation of our university. The president also expressed the wish to have more communication and cooperation with Swedish universities. Meanwhile, Mr. Johansson introduced to us the recent work of Swedish Consulate General in Shanghai and expressed his desire to promote multi-directional exchange and cooperation between the enterprises and universities of both countries.
In the afternoon, Mr. Johansson gave a lecture on The Formation of EU-China Policy, at ZJSU Global Forum.
Mr. Johansson has worked for more than ten years in China, as a diplomat at Swedish Embassy in Beijing, Swedish Consulate General in Shanghai, Swedish Trade Council in Taipei and Swedish Consulate General in Hong Kong.
