Our well-known alumnus, Mr. Yan Xiaozhe is a member of the Overseas Committee of the Federation of Overseas Chinese, the chairman of US Education without Borders and the Executive President of Iowa Chinese Association. He has lived in the United States for 20 years.
On March 3rd, 2011, CCTV International Channel (CCTV-4) had a feature programme (the 44th period) at the Chinese World, to give a special report of Mr. Yan, for his great contributions to the development of Sino-U.S. relation, the spread of Chinese culture, the protection of the rights of the Chinese people, and the promotion of exchanges. Chinese World is a magazine type program of CCTV-4, and this is the first time for it to give reports about the overseas Chinese.
In addition, Mr. Yan would come back to ZJSU to take part in the centennial celebration activities.
