Soon after the Quake, on Feb. 23, teachers of ZJSU International Office and College of Economics successfully got in touch with Miss ZHU herself, through emails and telephone calls, and leant that she was quite safe. Still, our teachers urged administration officers of University of Canturbry to provide all possible support and care for our student. Miss ZHU herself also contacted her tutor at ZJSU, and gave a report on the local situation of Christchurch. In the evening of Feb. 25, through the liaison efforts of ZJSU International Office, correspondents of Hangzhou Daily had a telephone interview with Miss ZHU. She said that officers and professors of our university and of University of Canturbury had provided kind support after the quake, and she felt grateful.
