On December the 28th, ZJSU held the “Foreign Affairs Reception for the New Year 2011” ceremoniously. Vice President Zhang Renshou, together with the foreign experts of our university, the foreign student scholarship winners from our university, and also the heads of relevant colleges and departments, gathered together to celebrate the New Year holiday.
Mr. Zhang made a New Year address at the reception, in which he extended most cordial New Year greetings on behalf of the university to the hard-working foreign experts and students. He also expressed his most sincere gratitude to all the staff who had dedicated themselves to the work of foreign affairs of ZJSU. After reviewing the main achievements we had made of our foreign affairs in the previous year, he expressed the hope that all the departments would work even harder to initiate a new phase for international exchange and cooperation, with a high sense of responsibility and mission for the cause of internationalizing higher education.
During the reception, Emilie Chung, a French teacher at ZJSU, and Valiantsina Halauko, a ZJSU foreign student from Belarus, representing the foreign teachers and the international students respectively, expressed their gratitude for the concern and support from various people of our university.
The reception was held in a cheerful and harmonious atmosphere. At last, university staff gave every participant of the reception a lucky bunny to wish each of them good luck in the year 2011.
