On Oct. 11^th, the International Department Director of University of California Riverside(UCR), Mr. Guilherme Almeida and Director of UCR’s China Project, Mr. Dai Yong visited our university. Vice President Zhang Renshou met with the visitors.

 

During the meeting, Zhang Renshou introduced to the guests the history of Hangzhou as a famous historic and cultural city as well as the history and development of our university, our degree programs and key disciplines etc. He expressed the hope of establishing multi-level cooperation with UCR with regards to the short term exchange of students of UCR to our university especially.

 

Mr. Guilherme Almeida also gave a presentation to more than fifty students from our university, in which he introduced explicitly the degree programs of UCR. Mr. Dai Yong then extended his welcome to our students to study at UCR and gave an introduction of UCR’s visits study program of next spring. As for the questions of tuition fees and credit recognizing system of the program etc, Mr. Dai Yong all explained to our students in detail. This meeting achieved total success at last.
