ZJSU held the Education Internationalization Promotion Conference on Thursday afternoon last week (Dec. 3rd), which was the first time to have such kind of conference since the establishment of the University in 1911. Presided by ZJSU Vice President Zhang Renshou, the conference also invited Mr. Gu Jianxin, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Shu Peidong, Chief of Foreign Affairs Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, and another 200 or more officials from schools and colleges to attend the meeting.

ZJSU attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchanges with the objective transferred from "the internationalization of ZJSU" to "the internationalized ZJSU". Firstly addressed by Mr.Jiang Chengyong, CPC Secretary of ZJSU, the conference also had Mr. Gu Jianxin and Mr. Shu Peidong to deliver their opinions on education Internationalization promotion and had ZJSU President Hu Jianmiao’s final report. Mr. Li Jianrong, Dean of College of Food Science, Biotechnology and Engineering, and Mr. Guo Aixin, CPC Secretary of College of Japanese Language and Culture, both have introduced their internationalized education experience and outcomes. Moreover, Mr. Song Xingwu, Executive Director of ZJSU International Affairs Office, strengthened that any foreign-related departments should try their upmost to promote internationalized education and to create opportunities for teachers and students' foreign studies.
